Events: Last Planning Meeting, Latino Pride
2010. September 1 - 6:30 to 8 p.m., Latino Pride Planning Meeting to be held at the Wainwright Bank Community Room
in Jamaica Plain, 687 Center Street in Jamaica Plain (02130). Come to the meeting and learn how you can become an active
participant of Latino Pride 2010. Volunteers, allies, members, and friends are all welcome to attend this meeting!

us for our kickoff event to our 7th annual Latino Pride. This will be a night of fun with creative
pieces by members of both the Latino/a and LGBT communities. The performances will be followed by a spirited
discussion on the intersections of race and sexuality, as well as a fair that will highlight local services available
to our community. If you are an organization that is interested in purchasing a table at the community

will be dancing to some of the best Latino Rhythms at a local straight Latino club. Details to be announced

Pride of Latin@s Reception and awards ceremony: join us as we award this year’s Somos Latinos community members
and allies. Tickets $50/person, includes entrance to the reception, food and drinks, and entrance to the
pageant. 21 + event. Proper ID required. 9pm-12am: Miss Massachusetts Gay Latina Pageant: The pageant is back! Latidia
Productions, Somos Latinos LGBT Coalition and AvOc present an elaborate night of gowns, talent, and dancing.
Watch as Miss. Deborah Coxs crowns her successor! Vote for your favorite queen, see who the judges select as
Miss. Mass Gay Latina 2010, and dance to some off the hook Latin beats! We will be having some very special
hosts and guests through out the night. Tickets are $12 in advanced, and $15 at the door. 18+

The National Latino/a LGBT Organization at Café Belô 120 Washington Street, Somerville, MA 02143 Enjoy this Brazilian Churrascaria with members of the local
organization, Somos Latin@s and the National Organization, Unid@s as bring to a close another Latino Pride of New England, the
largest and longest running Latino Pride Celebration in our Nation. Menu includes a delicious buffet of Brazilian meats,
sides, and desserts. Also, listen to some wonderful musical accompaniments and meet our national partner
